About the Mosaic Outdoor Mountain Club of Massachusetts

Founded in 1990, the Mosaic Outdoor Mountain Club of Massachusetts is a unique Jewish outdoors club that has now grown to over 400 members across Massachusetts and New England.

We are an affiliate of the national Mosaic Outdoor Mountain Clubs America (MOCA). There are 20 chapters in the United States, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington. There are also Mosaic clubs in Toronto and Jerusalem.

Our bi-monthly event calendar offers nearly 30 activities each month for every level of fitness and outdoor interest. These events, organized by our volunteer trip coordinators, include hiking, local walks, bicycling, canoeing, downhill and cross-country skiing, in-line skating, dancing, social events and special Jewish holiday programming.
