Important Event Information
When event details are not listed,
the trip leader has requested that the information not be listed on the
Web. Please contact the leader directly or go to the Contact
Us page.
Non-members are welcome to join the
day of the event by paying the annual $20 membership fee or they can pay a
$5 single event guest fee. Guest may deduct the $5 guest fee from their
annual membership fee if they join within 30 days by paying the
additional $15.
- Waiver: All participants
MUST sign an unaltered release of liability and acknowledgment of risk
prior to each MOMC Massachusetts activity or they will not be
permitted to participate.
- Ability: Questions about
experience/expertise required for an event, contact the listed leader.
- Cost: Unless otherwise
indicated, activities are free for Mosaic members and $5 for
nonmembers. Non-member fees are collected at the start of an event.
- Reserve your space: Do
not call any leader after 10pm. Some leaders have earlier requirements
noted in their event listings. Activities requiring advance payment by
our chapter, must be reserved early to avoid cancellation for lack of
participation by commitment dates.
- Information Updates:
will be distributed via e-mail as required, or check this site, (both
listed on the cover), for additions or cancellations to our scheduled
activities. Your best bet is to subscribe to our new members-only
electronic mailing list. E-mail us at Get
on The List.
- Hiking: Hiking boots and
WOOL socks over polypropylene or silk sock liners are recommended in
ALL seasons. Dress in layers. Select clothing best suited to avoid
contracting Lyme disease. Bring a daypack with plenty of water, lunch,
snacks, and rain gear.
- Biking & Horseback
Riding: Helmets mandatory
- Inline Skating: Helmets
and wrist guards are required, knee and elbow pads are recommended.
- Pets: Pets are not
allowed at MOMC Massachusetts events unless the TC indicates
otherwise.
- Volunteers and New Leaders:
We need you! Enhance your level of
social interaction! If you are a member and are interested in, and
qualified to lead an event, or are willing to help with mailings,
phones and new memberships, contact us
and leave a message for the Club President.

How
to join: The easiest way to join is to download the New
Member/Renewal form. If you'd like to try an event first, you
can request a sample newsletter and attend an event as a guest. Annual
membership is still only $20 for an individual, $30 for a family at
the same address. New members and faces are always welcome at Mosaic.
